A suggestion

... for the search engine if they're not implemented yet!

When I type in 'Ultimate Play the Game', what I get is:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=11391 but I'd have liked the complete list of games released by Ultimate. In this entry, if I click on the publisher name, I get this:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... l_id=14923

That's what I wanted in the first time. So is it possible to get an entry of publishers or directly from the 'search' field or am I doing something wrong?

The same to authors, as if I tipe 'Jon Ritman' for instance, no results are displayed.

Hi there. Have you tried the advanced search on the right hand side?

^Yep^ it's the advanced search you want Juan.

The box at the top right is for game titles only.

In the white boxes under it, if you put Jon Ritman into the author box it works, ditto Ultimate in publisher. No typos though, or it will be a 'not found'.

[EDIT - and at 50 posts I've reached the giddy rank of Dizzy.]

Ooops! That right! I was only watching the single field!

That answers my question. Thanks!

And now another suggestion set out in WoSF some years ago that worked there for some time:

Is there any chance for it to be implemented here?

It'd be great 8-)

It may be something in the future, but I can't make any promises. If you want to code it for us, then I'm happy to test it.

I wouldn't mind helping with that. i.e. implement it.

Hi RMartins sorry for the delay in my reply. If you send me a PM with your email I can send you the source code for the page as it currently stands, and we can do some testing of anything you develop,

Thanks

Well can’t take full credit for that, as it’s a standard feature in the backend im using(elasticsearch)

Of course I’ve configured the indexing to make it useable :-)
