People are still making stuff for the Sinclair related machines. Tell us about new games and other software that runs on the Spectrum, ZX80/ZX81, Pentagon and Next.

Could anyone check out the files from these two posts?

It's a new edition of this game which was made by the same author (MAC) last year

Good catch. There is a DSK +3 version of the game that seems to work fine, and also, a ZIP of all the graphic material for labels and instructions.

Prayer of the Warrior

Post by R-Tape »

I created this thread to house some posts from the 'new software' thread, in order to get help with this game.

Prayer of the Warrior has some new versions floating around. Would someone be willing to look into the posts above and summarise what needs to be added to the current entry, or what changes need to be made pleez.

One thread for two different games? :)

The first post corresponds to Super Lopez, I think it is a re-release with new content.

The other one is a re-release of The Prayer of the Warrior https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=14425
which includes new material that is not on the wos 48K version. I kept everything in this dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/x3elr3gx9zpk ... SjbQa?dl=1
Besides the +3 version released on the Zonadepruebas forum here http://www.zonadepruebas.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3988
the folder also contains monodisk +3 and 128K versions made by Zup

Tits. Sorry.

We can ignore Super Lopez, as druellan has already sorted this via the new spangled upload system, and it's collated ready for the next update. Just Prayer for the Warrior to sort now!

Is this version different from the one released in 2016?

I don't think so. Your blog refers to this crowdfunded physical version : http://www.retromaniac.es/2016/05/entre ... -fran.html
The files I posted above on dropbox were grabbed from this thread http://www.zonadepruebas.com/viewtopic. ... yer#p68266
If you read the the first post of that thread, it is written by one of the guys who released the crowdfunded cassette. Actually in there you have several formats of the same release: +3 double disk, +3 mono disk, 128k, 48K
I think the file on infoseek is a demo with less material, these newer versions were reconstructed around 2012/2013
I dunno about inlays and the CPC version, you can read an interview to the original authors and the reconstruction process here https://www.amstrad.es/doku.php?id=jueg ... he_warrior
I'd say the original authors were contacted to make a cpc version and provided spectrum disks with extra things which needed to repaired.
