13 new games and an wonderful project

People are still making stuff for the Sinclair related machines. Tell us about new games and other software that runs on the Spectrum, ZX80/ZX81, Pentagon and Next.

Cool! Well done Bearsden Primary!

I need to get used to cursor and WASD instead of QAOP - I keep messing up the jumps.

Congratulations to everybody involved! Great to see people born in 21st century still writing Spectrum games :)

These games may seem simple when compared to stuff written by older people but you kids still may be truly proud of
yourself.

I still can vaguely remember my satisfaction when I wrote my first Basic game, now lost
forever ;) It was something about shooting at birds or bats (made from UGD characters) with a laser (made with DRAW command).
It was simple but I was really happy about it. I hope you feel something similar now.

And maybe for some, it won't be their last Spectrum game ;)

The games are pretty nice. The falling distance is quite unforgiving for most of them, but it makes for some interesting level design. Invisible platforms seem to feature a lot as well.

Are all of the games fully completeable? In 'Timothy's Travels', I became stuck at the top of a ladder and couldn't find a way to escape that section.

All the games are now available here. It'll be interesting to see if/how this project is built on, or is repeated elsewhere.

Playing through these alphabetically. The author of Bob the Blob would have been guaranteed a job with Dinamic Software BITD (HARD!!!).

Oh, 2 Rudolph on the Bearsden page. Maybe one of them is just an update. I was counting the number of games, I guess everything is ok. :)

I my emulator.exe , the keys not work. (eg. I press "Q" but nothing-even the "Q" is okai).
Tell us, can you write the inkey$. In your Emulators, the Keyboard work fine, but in other Emulator(Fuse-linuex) the maybe keys not work.
That reason, you need write at first-screen$ (QAOPM)
