nitrofurano, can you (or someone) explain what this is? Should a screenshot have ULAplus enabled? And how finished is it?

Dear all, finally we did have time to finish our next game: "Federation Z", a space adventure. I say we because this time the game has been done under the new "Furillo Productions" team (Molomazo & IADVD) :) :)

This game has been sent to the MojonConcurso 2020 by the Mojon Twins and Retromaniac (Sp link to the contest):
http://www.retromaniac.es/2020/03/mojon ... ta-la.html

Tap file (Spanish and English) and manual are in the following link.
We strongly suggest reading the manual, or you will get lost in the cold space pretty soon ;)

Story

Koji Bakuto is an earthling mecha robot designer. After participating in Ciudad Petunia's Fandom Festival a colleague invited him to join the Zork Federation. They needed a reputed starship captain to continue their expansion through the Omega sector. Koji accepted the invitation and started his career as a starship captain.

The Game

As the Captain Koji Bakuto, ride the A9K-2 Starship through the Omega sector following the orders and advices of General Zork, and completing the seven missions of the game. You can be a hero, or finish your days floating in the cold space forever.

Our reports inform us that there are two native races living at the Omega sector; one of them is pacific and neutral and will accept interactions with the Zork Federation. The other one is aggresive and controls the sector with their technological weapons and ships.

There are also several abandoned worlds that were already obliterated by the aggressive race. Our scientists confirm that they can be colonized again.

There are also Ufomart stores where you can buy modules for your ship that gradually will help you to finish your missions.

Finally, our scientists have detected a big amount of strontium, iridium, goldium and selenium comets that could be a source of funds for us.

You have an initial amount of energy and beams. Be careful because the energy is not infinite. Be also careful with the asteroids moving freely along the whole sector.

Hi there! Quantum Sheep here!

curtseys

I released Jumpin' Jupiter a while back and now have a new game out, Last Train to Tranz-Central :)

Here are some images :)

Some blurb:

In the Wild West frontier of the future, Space Trains race across the stars, piloted by powerful next-gen Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) with a whopping 48k of memory each.

I know!

Tech this advanced always goes wrong (right?). Following a hook up with incompatible peripherals at a remote space (train) station, the A.I.s have become corrupted and sent several Space Trains on a crash course with populated planets!

It’s up to Maurice, The Space Cowboy, to reach the rogue A.I. in each train’s engine room before the outposts become a crater the size of Nebraska…

You can find the game here: https://quantumsheep.itch.io/last-train ... nz-central

The game comes in two parts!

Part 1 is free! It has 32 levels set across 8 trains (look for the 'demo' files at the bottom of the itchio page)

Part 2 is paid and continues the adventure with another 32 levels.

Music is by the always awesome Yerzmyey (who has done music for some of my old iOS games too!)

Hope you like it!

Very much looking forward to making more Speccy games (a dream come true!) before the end of the year! :D

Cheers!

Cheers. This is a bit of a pre-release demo, so I lumped this in with Jumpin' Jupiter itself.

Quantum Sheep. Can you describe the differences between the pre-release and the main one?

Makes sense!

I checked again, and it seems Jumpin' Jupiter Prelude contains the first 15 levels of the full game. Thus you are right, it's basically a demo.

Since the Prelude is available as free download (without the "name your price" tag) and it's intended to help promote the full game, perhaps it could be added to the main game page marked as "demo"?
