Re: Main course
Hello!
I was just coming here to post about this!
Thanks for getting ahead of me. Bloody hell, the PlanetaSinclair guys are fast.
Or stalking me.
:O
Anyway, yes, I made a text adventure this time! Hurrah! It's available for ONE BRITISH POUND, but if you can't or don't want to pay that, there's a four year old html5 browser version which is free and will give you an idea of what to expect (though I edited/added a few things for the Speccy version!).
The Speccy version is here: https://quantumsheep.itch.io/main-course-the-retro-cut
And the html5 version is here: https://quantumsheep.itch.io/main-course
As mentioned, it was made with Lantern. I have tried using a few adventure packages over the years, but this one spoke to me. It's very easy to use and quite powerful. The guy who made it, Evan Wright, is very kind, patient and bloody helpful. Wouldn't have been able to make this game without him!
I have a few ideas for more games, so if you like Adventure games, I hope you give this (and the others!) a go!
Cheers!

Re: Main course
Hello!
Been busy! After finishing The Seance ( viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3627) I went back to Main Course and updated it slightly!
The non-working score display is now gone (hurrah!) and I changed the font to Damien Guard's excellent and appropriate(!) 'chestburster'
Much nicer!
The game is in the usual place: https://quantumsheep.itch.io/main-course-the-retro-cut
Also, what do I need to do to get a couple of screenshots for this here: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/list?label_id=19441 ???
Cheers! Hope you like the update!
