Bomb Jack +

People are still making stuff for the Sinclair related machines. Tell us about new games and other software that runs on the Spectrum, ZX80/ZX81, Pentagon and Next.

Bomb Jack +

Post by 4thRock »

Been working on this for ages, and finally think it's good for release.

It's an edit of Bomb Jack with level layouts and backgrounds from Bomb Jack Twin.
Plays the same, but the new layouts are a bit more tricky.

There's a limit to background image complexity, so the night background had to be very simple.
Not too happy with that one, but at least it's a bit different :)

I couldn't find any reference material about Bomb Jack Twin's bomb order or enemy sequence / respawn.
So those are unchanged. Of course, this was done using the Bomb Jack Editor.

I like the way it plays and I hope you have fun with it.

Looks very interesting. I would have a few comment but will save them for later.

What is Bomb Jack Twin?

Jack Twin was a 1993 arcade game, that updated the original a bit with better level layouts and two player action.
