RUBICON - Maze Runner

Post by Dethmunk »

Hey guys. Just joined these forums. :-)
Here we have my new game... Rubicon. Using AGD to power it. Its coming along nicely got all the screens done and sprites although I hope to add more. Need to get the main game play logic in soon. ;-)

Story: You play Nym. An adolescent who is ready to enter adulthood. As a right of passage you must enter the Rubicon! Within you must find the Five pages of Wisdom. Then find the Amulet of Light. This will guide you to your loved one once you leave. It will also grant you access to the Exit past the Guardian. Many tasks await you within.... strange and dangerous creatures, toxic slime, doors that bar you way, laser beams, mashers..... oh did we mention you'll need some gifts for your loved one to be.... 3 crowns to find.

Oh and one more thing.... there's a time limit ;-)

Check out these screens. :-)

Nice to see you John! This looks great, a little different to your usual graphical style.

EDIT - that didn't sound right! Your usual style is also really rather splendid.

Argh! You can still change your mind on that one, the die is not cast yet :-p

Yeah sorry guys, still in progress. :D Thanks though.
R-Tape yeah I try to change the style and game play when I can. That include the graphical side too. ;)
As for the time limit.... hee hee. There has to be some element of danger and tension. Mawhahahaahahaha
