Just found this game, Pluggit (https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=3773)
that is in fact a clone of the Atari 800 Shamus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamus_(video_game)).
Now, I can see for games like Moon Alert (https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=3261) there is a License Information section, just to point out that the game was ported or "inspired". This is mainly being used for arcade games. In this case, it is a personal computer software unofficially ported to the Spectrum, so, not sure if worth to mention the original inspiration in this case.

Re: Pluggit clone of Shamus
Cheers druellan, I've added it as a comment to the spreadsheet. If anyone knows of other clones of/inspired by Shamus post them here and we can call it a group.
Re: Pluggit clone of Shamus
I would make the group Berzerk-style games (which Shamus clearly is).
Berzerk inspired Shamus inspired Pluggit, by the looks of it.

Re: Pluggit clone of Shamus
Mind that this is not just an inspiration but an unofficial clone, similar to the mentioned Moon Altert, or Pogo. That's why I think perhaps a tie-in license information is more appropriate to be displayed on the database
