Coming soon!

Post by Ivanzx »

I had the idea that we could use this space to announce games that are close to be released or announced!

What do you guys think?

I will start with:

-Qbox-

This is an isometric game that was made with AGD and is really going to surprise and drop some jaws! Written by Sergio Llata, who used to code also back in the 80s and 90s for the Spectrum and even appeared in the well known spanish magazine Microhobby with some tricks and programs. Here I leave a video (in spanish) where you can see some footage of the game. The link benneath is taken from the moment the game is shown in the video:

To everybody interested - the video may seem a bit crap but the game is very interesting.

If you see just some guy talking in the language that you don't understand and a static screen then don't give up and scroll it a bit further ;) Later we can see the actual game running. But don't scroll too much as it's long video and he talks there about many different games.

I suppose this game pushes AGD to its limits. It does 3D isometric view, something that AGD was never designed and supposed to do

Haha for me it is not so boring, I understand him  , but yes, the game pushes the engine to the max, showing what is capable of doing. Maybe it can even be taken further...
Also, the game is quite fun and addictive, probably next month will be out ;)
