Some MIA games 4

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

Some MIA games 4

Post by Ralf »

Some Russian MIA stuff to be added to database. Nothing special but I believe it still deserves to be preserved ;)

The download:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/zxqv7h

Image

1.
Name: Arcade Volleyball
Author/Publisher: Warlocks https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... l_id=15324
Year: 1995
Genre: Sport game:Action

Not playable demo. Flickers a lot on Pentagon emulation but works okay for example on Scorpion machine (selectable in Spectaculator)
Full, working game was probably never completed.

2.
Name: Step by Step
Publisher: Amigo Trade Group ( different from https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... bel_id=819)
Authors:
E.F. Kuzeminoy (idea)
Mikhail Grekov (code)
Alexey Filonov (code)
Dracon (graphics)
Genre:Quiz
Demo version. Full game was probably never completed.

3. Planet of Death
Mod of: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=5913
Mod authors: Laks, Stalker

Doesn't look much like the original but it's really a mod of it with all the text exactly translated ;)

If I do an author search for 'Stalker', it brings up Dmitri Partsyrny, but I can't see why. Is Stalker his nickname? Einar Saukas: is this in ZXDB somewhere?

Unfortunately I don't know anything more about this Stalker who made Planet of Death mod, is he Dmitry Partsyrny or some totally different guy using the same nickname :?:
