uMIA: Z80 Analyst - Sesomsoft

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

uMIA: Z80 Analyst - Sesomsoft

Post by Frankie »

Full Title: Z80 Analyst
Also known as:
Year: 1985 (Loading screen) / 1986 (Tape label)
Company: Sesomsoft (Herbert Bauer, Munich, Germany)
Machine Type: ZX Spectrum 48K
Re-released by:
Author(s): W.Bernard
Type: Utility: Assembler
Message Language: German
Upload includes: TZX file of program. JPGs of inlay, German instructions (Front and Back) and tape label
Source: From original tape
Filetype: TZX
Reason for Upload: uMIA
Note: I would imagine the game was written in 1985, thereas the copyright notice on the loading screen, but it wasn't released until 1986, as claimed on the tape labels. If you look closely on the picture of the tape label, you'll see they overwrote original games and stuck their own tape label on top of the original. In this case they used the Sinclair release G27/S which is Jetpac. The instructions is a little to technical for me to dare and translate it, but if some German would like a go, feel free to do so, and send me a copy to be added to this download file, THANKS :-)

Is there a reason why the scanned instructions, and the tape label picture wasn’t added to the database?

Hi Frankie,

I recall there being a discussion about the inclusion of scanned instructions recently. Let me find the thread this evening.

Any news on this? I think its silly not to allow scans, as I for one don’t have time to type them all in. With scans online, someone might do the typing at some point :)

Sorry, busier at work that planned. It's on my list.

Can anyone else help on this. I'm sure I read recently about the reasons why the scanners don't include the inside of inlays, but I can't find it. Any help appreciated.

Great, thanks. A lot to type in :( Also got one or two instructions that are missing. They look like they are typed on a type-writer back then. I’ll convert these into txt files when I get the time :)

Great, but it seems you guys added the Black inlay variation twice, or is there a difference I can't spot?
