Harriet's Last Bath

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

The corresponding C&VG type-in references. (The game was also available for tape from Roy himself, see article)

As the article points out, Roy Turner was Steve Turner's dad. :)

Typed-in at the Type Fantastic site
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~jg27p ... vg8611.zip

No idea if those two are identical.

Edit: There seems to be two programs on the tape file linked to in post #1. The first is only half the size, doesn't seem to work. The second is twice the length and does... Someone typing the program partially in, saving it, then resuming and saving the finished program, perhaps? So a user-made tape, rather than Roy's original? (May be errors in that second version on the tape too)

Added. It gives a lot of E: Out of Data and Variable not found, so maybe this is before the fix 8bitAg mentioned.

Not sure how to add the type-in links via Pav's form. Someone else can do that after the next update.

The first program on the tape gives a lot of those errors as it's incomplete. The second is a lot better, as it's fully typed in, but I imagine that The Type Fantastic file (linked to above) would probably work better and be the one to archive. The one here is just somebody doing a bad job at typing in the listing, I think.
