uMIA/Never Released-Chuckie Apple (Nigel Alderton)

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

uMIA/Never Released-Chuckie Apple (Nigel Alderton)

Post by Ivanzx » Tue Aug 28, 2018 9:11 am

I did not know anything about this and it was a big surprise when hikoki let me know, but there was a sequel to Chuckie Egg planned by the author, Nigel Alderton, called Chuckie Apple. It is not even listed in Spectrum Computing or WoS (as a MIA entry I mean), but I think it should! :)

Here you can read more about it :

I've never heard about it but it seems really interesting! It definitely needs to be added to ZXDB.

And it seems that we have an detailed documentation and PC version working. So nothing prevents it to be made on Zx Spectrum, as supposed.

Any volunteers? ;)

Note that the PC version is a fan made version based on the design notes and shouldn't be taken as the definitive version.

Hmm, I just played it... I don't get it.
In general, you can't just take a paper design and implement it and expect it to be good. That's where the game design starts!
