I did not know anything about this and it was a big surprise when hikoki let me know, but there was a sequel to Chuckie Egg planned by the author, Nigel Alderton, called Chuckie Apple. It is not even listed in Spectrum Computing or WoS (as a MIA entry I mean), but I think it should!

I've never heard about it but it seems really interesting! It definitely needs to be added to ZXDB.
And it seems that we have an detailed documentation and PC version working. So nothing prevents it to be made on Zx Spectrum, as supposed.

Note that the PC version is a fan made version based on the design notes and shouldn't be taken as the definitive version.

Hmm, I just played it... I don't get it.
In general, you can't just take a paper design and implement it and expect it to be good. That's where the game design starts!
