Looks interesting. On the campaign page I think you mean faithful, rather that faitful.
Faitful audio/video experience with 100% speed!
How are you different to RetroPie, and what are doing in regards to copyrights?
Good luck with the project.

Re: Ultimate Retro Computer collection with software - Raspberry Pi 2/3
Thank you for the correction, obviously there are some typing errors.
RCS uses Raspbian based emu frontend, inspired with open source ES v1.0.
The real benefit of this package is the effort that every single emulator is fine tuned to the smallest details, which resulted in a very realistic video display and perfectly smooth animation on TV.
For the first time, we have a full emulation of Acorn models Atom, Electron, BBC B, BBC Master and also some very rare machines like Mattel Aquarius, Sharp MZ-700, Lynx etc.
We are currently very close to achieving the Acorn Archimeds emulation at full speed and we hope that it will be included in the final version.
The copyright of this old software is always a gray area.
Part of the software is free, part abandonware, denied or current commercial titles will certainly not be included, but each user can easily add new content or delete what doesn't suit him.

Re: Ultimate Retro Computer collection with software - Raspberry Pi 2/3
I have a question, what are the licences that the individual emulators and software are released under? If its strong copy left type licences how are you planning on complying with the licence conditions?
Are you including the actual ROMs for systems in the distribution? That would seem to be a legal black hole. Probably even more than the software..
But with all that said before starting a funding campaign I would have figured you have done due diligence and consulted with a lawyer.
Congratulations on putting together an interesting Raspberry Pi distribution.

No, we do not plan to distribute original ROMs.
Some emulators don't require them, and for those who need it, it's very easy to add them later.
No used emulator is under commercial license, and as for others, we will check again all legal aspects and choose the right solution.
Also, thanks for the nice words, I'm glad you liked this collection.
