Name the game

Not a Speccy game, but does anyone else recognise the shape of the demon's head space fortress (the colours are all wrong) in this picture from the "Star Wars Question and Answer Book About Computers"?

Phoenix is the only game of that era I can think of with a huge boss, but it's not exactly a demon head.
Then there's Sinistar which has a demon head but much smaller.

Shame you didn't have a Speccy game in mind. I can only picture the cover game from this book of type ins.

Ah, Demon Attack is the original game, but that type-in book is probably what I was thinking of. Thanks.
That's quite an elaborate graphic for a type-in. Although that stage would make for a simple BASIC game as it just has a small rotating gap in a horizontal shield.

It's entirely possible that I'm losing it, but I can't actually find a game in that book (I own it) that uses that angry mothership *in* the game, and jp's links only use it as a loading screen too.

Does anyone know which speccy game or type-in that beast first appeared?
