And now... PC Classic announced!

Post by Juan F. Ramirez »

Following the steps of NES, Playstation, etc, now it's the time of PC Classic. By crowfunding (about 99 euros). 2 USB plugs, will accept keyboard and mouse, and there will be an official store to buy additional games. 30 pre-installed titles (not confirmed yet).

I'm fairly interested in this, I wouldn't crowdfund it but I'd be interested in a commercial version if they have one, especially if you can load up your own dos games. Lots of classic DOS games I'd love to replay with HDMI out and not having to screw around with dosbox or use dedicated "retro" PC. Yeah again I have dosbox on the raspberry Pi but it's not the same I don't think...for some reason I don't get the same vibe using a retropi for gaming as I do a dedicated "thing".

EDIT: If it had online multiplayer capability too that would be great, Doom/quake Deathmatch again.

I bet it has a Raspberry Pi inside with some plugs and wires in the style of Nespi case.
