LEGO SEGA Arcade Machines

LEGO is having a run-off between four previously submitted set ideas. All are approved to be made, whichever wins the vote.
Naturally I'd love to see the SEGA Arcade Machines (mini versions of OutRun, ThunderBlade and Space Harrier sit-in cabs), so take a look, register and vote!

Those look really nice. And using a pistol as a joystick is quite clever. The other options are pretty good too, but I'd imagine the yellow sculpture would be a bit messy if the bricks are supposed to be falling out of it.

Are the decals on the arcade machines all stickers, or just printed on? I used to find those tiny stickers really fiddly, and they'd never go on quite straight. They do look good though.

I quite like the quad-bike handlebars used as the footrests on the ThunderBlade machine.

They'd have to be done as stickers - there are too many unique decals. You get printed decals in the stuff aimed at younger kids and where the design can be re-used a lot, or on minifigure bodies (that are nearly always printed nowadays anyway).
It costs them too much not just to do loads of different prints, but then all the extra tracking they have to do when one part comes in a dozen different printed variations.

You really need to use some tweezers for putitng all of those on straight.

At least LEGO now generally shy away from stickers that spread across multiple parts, as then you can't dismantle the set.

Looks like it didn't win unfortunately. Maybe it could still get an unofficial release or something.
