Sam's journey - a really impressive game for C64

Post by Ralf »

Please don't lynch me for posting it on Speccy forum ;)

So there is a new game for C64. Maybe not so new but it didn't see the discussion about it here or on WOS.

It's called Sam's Journey and it's really impressive. Have a look:

As I understand it runs on standard C64 with 64 kb of RAM and disk drive.

It really good at using all C64 strengths - sprites, hardware scrolling... I

Would something like this be possible on Spectrum. Probably not.
Will it make me abandon Spectrum for C64? Definitely not

How do you like it?

The game is great, but too expensive, $25 for digital download, $56 for a physical copy.
Maybe I will try it if our Russian friends provide an "enhanced" version, with a huge discount. ;)
