Y'intae yer point n click games, aye?
Bitmap Books have just announced their new book The Art of Point + Click, which can now be pre-ordered.
Yes, I've contributed new pixel art for it where I got to create pixel versions of 15 legendary point and click game creators as if they were characters within one of their games. There is a ZX Spectrum connection, though, as one of those creators is non other than Charles Cecil. I also produced the foreword illustration of "old game journo/editor" Gary Whitta, who is now working stateside writing stories and screenplays for film and television (he most recently wrote the original story for Star Wars Rogue One).

Pretty pixelart, both original and yours.

Looks great, and Future Wars is a great example. Graphically I'd never seen anything quite like it. I spent a LOT of time looking at the first few screens of that game, good job they were so easy on the eye.
Little flag? What the hell am I supposed to do with a little flag?!
