Hardcore Gaming 101

Post by Einar Saukas »

IMHO the website "Hardcore Gaming 101" has very interesting reviews of quite a few classic Speccy games. It would be nice to have these links stored in ZXDB, so SpectrumComputing could show these links at each game page.

The available Speccy game reviews are listed here:

http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/zx-spectrum/

Would anyone volunteer to compile this information? What needs to be done is put together a list (text file, spreadsheet, whatever) that, for each review link above, would have the corresponding ZXDB_ID or webpage link at SpectrumComputing, whatever's easier. No technical skills are required for this task.

Any volunteers?

I'm on it - here's a google sheet in case someone would like to start from the other end (yes, I've started from A...)

[EDIT] - seems like I can't link to the sheet, PM me in case you would like to start from the end.

Oh! Thanks for this. Hardcore Gaming has some of the best reviews I saw. The Dark Sceptre article is gold!

BTW, Einar Saukas do you have any plans for linked content on another language, like Spanish reviews?

ZXDB already supports storing foreign language reviews. We just need someone to provide content.

Do you have anything specific in mind?

Oh, yep! The guys at elmundodelspectrum.com have a nice section of game reviews in Spanish (~240 and counting) - http://www.elmundodelspectrum.com/juegos-spectrum.php and I believe they are about to redesign the website, so, can be a good excuse to link the reviews here, I can take care of that.
