The Serf's Tale is listed as being published in 1986, presumably because of the date on the loading screen, but the copyright on the inlay is 1987 and all associated reviews are from 1987
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=6955

However... the connected, earlier version of the game, "Adventure" is dated as being published in 1987 when in fact it was, going on the earliest review, published in 1986...
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=11469

(It had to be out before The Serf's Tale, because Serf's Tale was developed from it)

NOTE: *ALL*, as far as I can see, of the non-review magazine references on that entry are INCORRECT. Referring to other adaptations of the Crowther & Woods original... not Nigel Brooks' Adventure.

Wec Le Mans

does not appear to have been released in 1988. Earliest review is in Sinclair User February 1989, with the rest in March and the last from The Games Machine (specifically for the C64 and Spectrum versions) in April 1989.

Atarimania have changes and not support old links. For example

http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.p ... ON_ID=5080

Not work, but if used the search :

http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-40 ... _5080.html

Have 244 links to atarimania at database.

The number base are equal (5080 at this; i have tried 10 links and equal) but old sintax not work. Other sites (Generation MSX for example) have also changed URLs but old style working.

The program Grafpad was written by Jon Ritman, according to this thread:

"GRAFPAD REVIEW

Review by James Dann

This is a review of British Micro's Grafpad, apparently a powerful new contender for (last month's) Melbourne Draw.

Grafpad is one of those stylus pads which I always thought looked cool in the adverts, letting you get 'hands-on' with your graphic design. At an eye-watering £125 + VAT it was probably a bit of a pipe dream for most young Speccy users back then. A familiar-sounding name pops up as a credit for the software behind it:

Image

We're given some details about the physical tablet such as its dimensions and weight (jeez...), and the review author shares a few of its main graphic features - window, fill, magnification, storage etc.

As interesting as all these features may have been to 1980s Morkin, I found myself paging through the slightly dull text. After all, "the proof is in the pudding", right? Let's see some pics then.

Here's the first, from Jon Ritman himself. Took 30 minutes apparently, "but then he did write the software":

And the second, by the review author:

Impressive stuff.
"

Excellent discovery by Morkin
