ZX-Art API

Post by moroz1999 »

I'm glad to announce that ZX-Art now has a public API.
https://zxart.ee/eng/about/api/

Please use it to copy/duplicate/archive/backup/whatever you need to do. ZX-Art's database is inaccurate currently because of the really large amounts of information incorporated from different sources, but many of it can already be used.
Please let me know if you need some additional/custom properties/filter in API: it's under constant development.

I would also like to introduce a geocoding solution on ZX-Art:
https://zxart.ee/eng/countries/

With some efforts it would be possible to use this info in Spectrum Computing and ZXDB.

Nice. The country viewer looks pretty cool.

Always nice to see more effort going into open data and APIs.

I don't know how you are associating the authors to the countries, but I'm not listed in Portugal, which is my country.
Maybe my user is not associated with the country.

Great! Please let me know if something is missing: I can add optional filters or additional properties if required.

I have corrected it in ZXDB too:

Hi moroz1999!
I can´t figure out how to make it work.
If I wish to search by author´s name, or by country... is it possible?
All filters that I´ve seen is by id but I wish to seek by some string...author, country, title, etc.

Thanks.

I apology a lot for non-answering. I will implement the required filters ASAP, there shouldn't be anything difficult with these.
