Can you recommend an emulator which has support for these machines such as the ATM (ATM Turbo)?

Thanks
Unreal Speccy
Xpeccy
ZXMAK2

I wonder why Fuse doesn't support this.

Castle Colditz by Felix Software was a 1983 release, not 1984
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=6067

as shown by the multiple advertising referenced on the game page.

Also...

the ZX81 16K version is missing from the ZXDB.

Links to ACE and MicroHobby aren't currently working.

ACE:

The issue number is currently specified as 3 digits but it should be 2 digits eg:

Code: Select all

Current view link is https://archive.org/stream/ace-magazine-016/ACE_Issue_016_1989_Jan#page/n116/mode/1up
Correct view link is https://archive.org/stream/ace-magazine-16/ACE_Issue_16_1989_Jan#page/n116/mode/1up
This applies to download links as well.

Microhobby:

View links are missing '.pdf' and have details repeated eg:

Code: Select all

Current view link is https://archive.org/stream/microhobby-magazine-056#page/n38/mode/1up/MicroHobby_056#page/n38/mode/1up
Correct view link is https://archive.org/stream/microhobby-magazine-056.pdf/MicroHobby_056#page/n38/mode/1up
Download links are fine as they are.

Note that the second reference to the magazine doesn't seem to be necessary; the following links give the exact same result:

Code: Select all

https://archive.org/stream/ace-magazine-16/ACE_Issue_16_1989_Jan#page/n116/mode/1up
https://archive.org/stream/ace-magazine-16#page/n116/mode/1up

Pole Position

The inlay PolePosition(ErbeSoftwareS.A.).jpg is a slightly better copy of the US Gold inlay, while the inlay PolePosition(IBSA).jpg is an Erbe inlay.

The instructions PolePosition(IBSA).pdf are Erbe instructions.

The zip file PolePosition(IBSA).tzx.zip contains Pole Position (Erbe - Serie Leyenda).tzx.

There doesn't seem to be an IBSA version from 1988 at all.

IBSA is a sort of ERBE second label. It always contains the 'Serie Leyenda' seal. So in this case, it seems it's really the IBSA inlay as it has the SL seal. Something similar happens with Gremlin's Avenger, for example.

And the Erbe inlay being too similar to the US Gold one, it seems Erbe published it with the same inlay than in the UK in those early years. Only the instructions were in spanish.

SPA2, the main spanish Spectrum archive and a very reliable source, considers all the files like they are here (it provided spanish stuff to WoS, hence the coincidence):

https://spa2.speccy.org/spanish/p.htm

There are two different instructions (Erbre & Ibsa) as well as two inlays.

Good catch!

All programs in this tape are Spanish translations from 16/48 Tape Magazine, except for "Libano" apparently. I added them all to ZXDB, they will appear in the next update.

Do you mean Scorpion and Scorpion[2] are the same company so their information should be merged?

The website address for
František Fuka
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... el_id=4903

No longer works and should probably be changed to...
http://www.fuxoft.cz/english.htm

Which is what is linked to on the associated Fuxoft page.

No, they are two different companies.

What I am saying is that one of the recently added entries is attributed to the wrong of the two companies. While another entry added in the same batch is attributed to the correct one.

Hope it makes sense now.

EDIT: actually, what I answered to above was the situation when I originally reported it. At that point I believe the wrong Scorpion was this one: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... l_id=19491, but I may be remember it incorrectly.

As it is now, yes, you are right, this Scorpion (Czech) and this Scorpion [2] are the same company, and the latter can be merged into the former.

Superted - The Search For Spot

The title of the game is Superted - The Search For Spotty, as shown on inlay. There was no "Spot" in Superted. They even got it wrong on the loading screen:

Flak (1984)

was released in 1985 - it's only review was in YS 7/85, and it appears on US Gold's flyer of Spring/Summer 1985 releases:

Starring Charlie Chaplin (1987)

Originally scheduled for a Christmas 1987 release according to the previews, it obviously wasn't as the earliest of the reviews are in June 1988.

Sega Master Mix (1991)
Platinum (1991)

These two compilations are both reviewed in Sinclair User January 1991 which was published on December 18th 1990. The Your Sinclair review even states "yet another compilation competing for your Xmas dosh", so the date on both should be 1990.

Pole Position

The US Gold version was released in 1985 - the earliest reviews for that version are from August 1985.
