Building z88dk on Ubuntu Linux 18.04 and 19.04

Ive been trying for a number of years to move away from MS Windows to Linux. One of the things which kept me on Windows was the perceived difficulty of getting z88dk running on Linux.
Well, thanks to some excellent resources on GitHub I've recently managed the installation successfully. For anyone else interested, these are my notes:
