Graphist wanted for a Text adventure (Spectrum and possible C64)

Post by Ivanzx »

Hi people!

I know a programmer who is doing now a text adventure with PAWS and needs a graphic artist for the screens.

Anybody willing to draw a little? :)

This sounds interesting. Can you give a bit more information?

What kind of graphics do you need?

Bitmap pixelart graphics made in any graphic editor?
Or vector graphics created with some special tool?

I believe it's an important distinction. These text game engines often used their own format of pictures, made of lines and filled polygons.

PAWS certainly uses the vector/fill method.

I have just asked him this, to clarify ;)

To have a little idea of how the project may be, here is a screenshot:

You can use EXTERNS to load in graphics from disk in PAWS, should you not wish to use the built-in vector graphics tools.
