Hi to all, a newbie here.
For all us Mac heads, what do you use for doing the graphics & sprites. I used to run a virtual machine with a windows session and something like TommyGun, but trying to have an all Mac toolkit, any pointer greatly received.
Cheers
Ian

Cheers, my Mac (10.12.6) is saying PowerPC apps no longer supported, so must be an oldish app. To be fair site does say its only tested to 10.4.11. So need something else or this app updating.

I prefer to draw sprites by hand, but occasionally use the Windows version of SevenuP, which runs very well under Wine.

Hi Profmyster,
I'm sorry there's no native version for MacOS, but I don't have any Mac, and when I tried to get help 5 years ago, I didn't get any:
https://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/ ... n-a-mac/p2
a pair of months later a Spanish user tried to compile it, but he run into a lot of compilation errors, probably due to the newer versions of gcc (which becomes more strict with each version) and wxWidgets:
http://foro.speccy.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4037&p=42934
So using wine could be the best option, as has already been suggested. Here you can find detailed instructions about how to do so (but they're from 2015, so some parts might be outdated):

Re: Mac Head
No problem buddy; I've got hold of wine and it all seems to work well. It saves me all the hassle of having to use the Virtual Machine/windows (which I no longer have) - this was a bit of a headache.. So all good... ! ThanksMetalbrain wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 2:35 pm Hi Profmyster,
