The long wait is finally over. The official Spectrum Next distribution has been updated to the latest and greatest! This new 22.09 version includes a large number of improvements and fixes and you can download it from the usual address https://www.specnext.com/latestdistro
Core 3.01.10, FW 1.43 and NextZXOS 2.07k await you.

So now is the time for it. You get new features, and most important many bugfixes. You´ll get up2date and this should be the standard OS-version for a long time (maybe until KS2-Nexts are delivered).

Updated my N-Go a couple of nights ago. I used a new 16gb sd card and kept my original safe. I did not expect to see the updater screen and the mention of updating of the cores. Anyway left if running and went away. A few minutes later something happened in the house to cause a power cut on the sockets-only circuit. Anyway went to view the bad news and to my luck, it must have finished the update. My n-go was sat there looking at me with the update done. Reloaded a few games, the wifi, and the net chat etc and it seems to be running fine.
