xpectroid .sav snapshot file not compatible with any windows based emulators

im trying to read the .sav file that xpectroid uses as a snapshot file. it is an android emulator btw. it will read .sna files but it creates a .sav file as a snapshot and nothing seems to be able to read it. any ideas? ive tried spin, fuse and emuzwin so far...
i started programming the spectrum when i was 8 :-

1 plot rnd*255,rnd*175
2 goto 1

Xpectroid, like GP2Xpectrum it derives from, can record save states as SAV files. SAV was a file format exclusive to the GP2X, therefore it seems most probable that it is a sort of proprietary format that can only be opened from the application that generated it, Xpectroid in this case.
