New update of Spectramine emulator
New update of Spectramine emulator
New update of my Spectramine emulator (v.1.05b), with correct snow etc: https://files.fm/u/r7cymnn9m
Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
Thanks Weiv for the new version. I like Spectramine, I use it from time to time to test 48k games, I found the speaker emulation to be very accurate, and the fact that I can drag & drop zip files is a great plus in my book.

Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
I'm not quite clear what the "autoreset" means, but "reset" works
When using "drag & drop" zip-file, the emulator window is not switched to active.
A problem is also that with .Trd and .scl not automatically the appropriate model "Pentagon" is selected.
A very good emulator and few problems.
Congratulations to the author !

Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
Well, the autoreset when drag & drop is a feature to me, since I usually use that feature to quickly tests software I download from the page, but I agree that sometimes you want to insert the side B of a tape to load levels, and you need to remember not to drag&drop anything, and use the menu.
Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
Thanks for your feedback, guys. I'll keep that in mind.
Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
@Weiv,
Thanks for the new version. I have updated my emulator comparison spreadsheet. If you have time, please could you check I have included everything? Please PM me with anything I have missed.
Thanks

The new version of Spectramine (v.2.01b Try) is available upon request to e-mail [email protected] for those who previously made donations and tests on real machines at my requests.
Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
Hi @Weiv . I'm using Spectramine Version 1.06b to test some Timex 2068 titles, and I've found that some of them have issues in the control, I think they are expecting to have the Timex joystick present, and without that hey go crazy. The ones I tested are https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/4 ... ex/Frogger and https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/4 ... /Cyclepath
Not sure if this is something that got fixed on later versions, but I'll leave the report here in case it is helpful.
Thanks!

Re: New update of Spectramine emulator
Thank you! I've checked them out on Fuse and yes, they work only with Timex Joystick 1 which is not supported in Spectramine at all( It certainly should be fixed.druellan wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 2:32 pm Hi @Weiv .
