Tested on SpecEmu, Spectaculator, physically on 128k Toast Rack, +2, +2a, +3, 48k machines
The original unmoddeed TAP doesn't either as it still uses a custom loader, it will work in emulators and on real hardware as a physical tape (or sound out from a pc).
What I need to do is hack the loader for the main game to the rom loading routine but also hope that the internal loader for the levels will still work. It's a pain on the NEXT as well as the TAP won't work and the TZX stop tape command is ignored. So you can load the game but struggle with the levels.
There is a hacked TAP out there that packs all the level (think they get banked) which works perfectly, however the levels are packed so I can't change them as yet.
Did the best I could do as a non coder...
