I suppose I'll GET (though not PUT) myself a few POINTs on the crossword, seeing as TIME$+9h is going to be busy...

11 Across - this was a devious one - is TAB;
12 Across - this could also have been a devious one - is BEEP (because if I'd made this crossword the answer would have been PLAY);
28 Across - is RND (and the answer is "truely" no, it isn't).

LET sc=sc+3.

I suspect there may be further Shenanigans with 8 Down. The obvious answer doesn't fit the holes.

Also, 49 Across isn't the answer I really wanted it to be. And what I wanted it to be is for me to know, and you to guess.

On a side note, may I say that some of the definitions are definitely obscure for non-UK players? :?

I haven't even noticed this thread until now, and this will be my only post.

Obviously I have to take this one:
1. David Hasseloff would be proud (6,5) = KnightRider
10. (Basic)contains info on the colour cell (4) = ATTR

And I'll agree with Alessandro. People called my clue in the screen$ thread (A for "duck") cryptic but many of these here people from outside the UK probably won't get. But it's alright, there is nothing to be won here. Over and out, have a nice Xmas, later dudez ;)

Unfortunately not, me old mucker! The reason for the "" is because 36 Down is a sub-standard Metallica album (which could also have been a great clue for this): LOAD.

I'll take two more: 35 Across is SLINGSHOT (not "Spingshot"...!) and 75 down is ZUB. Who, as I pointed out before, doesn't have a head and thus can't be a "Largehead". Zub has two long eye stalks, and hides them behind a spherical astronaut's helmet. The introductory screen makes this very clear.
