I had it back in the day. Infuriating game - never did get far. It's a shame that it didn't have some splashes of colour to differentiate the tiles - I reckon it could have been done with judicious use of black borders.

Invasion. I recognise the tank. Its a sort of futuristic Stonkers but feels annoyingly unfinished. Plus it crashes out, just like Stonkers.

It's not from Renegade, but I remember to have seen a floor like that only recently, it being from a bad Renegade clone. Subway Vigilante came to my mind - and this exact floor tile is present in this game indeed, but ... it's in yellow. Walkthrough videos of the game on YouTube also don't show any levels where the background is in white. I looked through the Players catalogue but didn't see a game where they may have re-used this floor tile ... or maybe I just missed it

Of course, there are lots of games I don't know (I didn't post anything for the last half dozen or so)! However, I only post here when I'm correct (or convinced I am, like in this special case). I never actually "guess".

Also, I will say this about the Players catalogue of games - I find it is full of "blaverage" games, going over them I saw a few titles that I'd played in the late 80s/early 90s and completely forgotten about, just not memorable enough I guess ...
