And he is NOT part of the Zen Room

Which one is correct?
I don't know, but the different entries are clearly the same title (same name, same platform, same author). The unknown first release seems suspect to me, as it's hard to know there was another release without knowing who it was by. But pick whichever you prefer.

There was a Bank Robber released by Leon-Noel in early 1983. But who knows if that's the same game.

It's probably different. Getting hit by meteors is very different from being caught and sent to jail.

There's more information on the Romik release, including the inlay, at ZX81 Stuff:

http://www.zx81stuff.org.uk/zx81/tape/BankRobber

I had thought there was a plan to add this to ZXDB. Is that still the case?

Yes, almost every ZX81 program in ZXDB contains a link to the corresponding page at ZX81 Stuff. This link appears near the bottom of the SpectrumComputing page for this game.

Last time I spoke with Simon, he gave us permission to store information from his site into ZXDB but without copying the programs. Although that was several years ago so perhaps he changed his mind...

Does that mean the inlays can be added to ZXDB?

No, neither images or tapes for now.

On the subject of the ZX81, these two entries are for the same piece of software. It's The Fast One which was the ZX81 version of Masterfile.

I looked at the following title after @Alessandro mentioned it, and the comment.dosent make sense

https://www.spectrumcomputing.co.uk/ent ... r_Spectrum
Remarks:
This book came with a software tape ( 77 Programmi per Spectrum), although one could also buy a copy with the tape.
I'm assuming it should read 'one could also buy a copy without the tape'

I do not remember this book coming with a tape, mine certainly wasn't, and there is no indication within of the possibility of getting hold of one - whereas instead Alla scoperta dello ZX Spectrum, the translation of the two manuals coming with the 16/48K, had a coupon at the end you had to send to the publisher in order to receive a tape with the programs listed in Appendix D recorded on it at the price of Lit. 15,000 plus 2,000 for postage and packing. As if it were not enough, the TAP file supposed to contain the programs only lists the first 14, so it was almost certainly made a posteriori.

Fantastic Four

was not published by Adventure International as they no longer existed. The conversion is by AdventureSoft UK and the publisher is "All American Adventures" (owned by US Gold).

As pointed out by CASA user Exemptus, this game is from 1984 *not* 1986 as currently stated.

1984 is shown on the inlay and the game was reviewed in magazines in that year too.

Video Classics

This isn't a compilation. None of the individual games listed should have their own id.

This program is marked as "Never released - recovered" but it doesn't have any files:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/4 ... -FILE_cart

Does anyone have it?

And this program is marked as "never released" but it has a playable file:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/3 ... ant_Micros

Does it mean it should be "Never released - recovered"?

There is a dock file, whatever that is, at https://www.timexsinclair.com/product/vu-file-cart/

That entry is mixed up - the screens and file are from Pendu, Pendu and Mutant are exactly one id apart. There was only a mention of Attack of the Mutant Micros in the forums here over a year ago.
Interestingly, Stephen mentioned a completed game he wrote prior to Sir Lancelot called Attack Of The Mutant Micros. He reckons he has a tape of it somewhere so will update everyone if he finds it.

Watch out for the feature in a couple of months.
I won't hold my breath.

The same cartridge image file was already available here:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/4 ... ex/VU-File

Should we merge both entries? We shouldn't have separate entries for tape, disk, and cartridge distributions of the same program. Unless this cartridge version is very much different from the tape... Could anyone please take a look?

The "empty" entry was added in version 1.0.93 on May 15 2021 and mentioned in zxdb update @4thRock - looks like it (not sure what since there is nothing new) should be "merged".
