I just tried to play this on Zx.spectrum.xyz it crashes and says nonsense in basic.
Tried down loading .tap file on real spectrum does the same.

Did you load it from 128k start menu?
The 128 BASIC command PLAY is needed.
For the 48k and/or esxDOS, you can use the dot-command
.PLAY

This is really neat, and not just 'for BASIC '. I'm glad the Bytemaniacos competition is up and running again so quickly - not only does it attract some brilliant games, but also potential best game of the year material.
