New titles at Spectrum 2.0

Post by Einar Saukas »

The excellent Spectrum reviews site Spectrum 2.0, created by Philip Kendall, now recognizes all titles from Spectrum Computing, ZX Info, ZX-Art, and WoS... including all games released recently!

At every game page at Spectrum Computing, there's a link called "Spectrum 2.0 (User Reviews)". Click on it to read all user reviews already available for this game, or write your own.

At every game page at ZX Info, open section "Other sites" and you will find a link called "SPECTRUM 2.0". Also click on it to read all user reviews already available for this game, or write your own.

At every game page at WoS, the Spectrum 2.0 link is available under the name "Player reviews".

Analogously, all Spectrum 2.0 pages now contain links back to WoS, ZX-Art, ZX Info, and Spectrum Computing.

Many thanks to both Philip Kendall and Gasman for their support on integrating Spectrum 2.0 with ZXDB!!!

Great initiative!

I believed that this review website was long broken and forgotten but it looks that it's actually woring and having a new content.

Spectrum 2.0 never stopped working, it just got outdated. Even a few old WoS titles were still missing there.

Everything's sorted out now! :)

Brilliant, I didn't think this was going to happen due to technical and practical (time etc) issues. We can finally start reviewing new games again! Well done fellas.

Philip, Gasman, Einar, and for good measure, Peter - I love you!

Very nice! Always nice to see a project revived. The stats page is pretty cool.

Is Spectrum 2.0 down for everyone? I've had a "Whoops something went wrong" message for a few days now.

Ditto here. Must be the gremlins.

I've tried but I can’t think of a pun that isn’t sh*t.

Not even anything related to Gremlin Graphics? Hmm.

I checked it now and had a mixed results. Sometimes everything worked fine and sometimes clicking exactly the same link gave me the error message you mention.

Some performance or database connection issues maybe ???

My apologies for bumping this, but I feel this was the best way for me to get this across and get some kind of solution for it.

I have a mate who advised me to use Spectrum 2.0 and I registered a few days ago but never got an activation email. It's a pity. Just wondering if it's me because I registered on my phone using his wi-fi or it's a fault with the service.

Sounds obvious, but have you checked your spam folder for the activation email?

pak21 is the man (Spectrum 2.0 has a couple of ZXDB updates to catch up on btw).

I don't mean to bump this up again but I still have not received a conformation email about my registration. Is there a way to personally contact Phillip about this? It confuses me that someone new has posted reviews today so that they got an email and i didn't. :?
