A new 128K football game by Voxeltower called Speccy Soccer is in the final stages of development. El Spectrumero Javi Ortiz shared this preview video on his Youtube channel a few weeks back.

Hello friends, after long months of hard work by the team, in a short time Speccy Soccer will be ready.

The game will work in most spectrum with 128kb. It is a spectrum version of the CPC Soccer 22 game but I have included many improvements and made many changes to make the most of the spectrum.

As in the original, in this one you have all the options (foul, card, barrier, corner, penalty, injuries, referee, ball physics, poster, crossbar, substitutions, injuries, replay, 120 real teams, 4 simultaneous players, difficult artificial intelligence and a long etc...

The game will be offered for free and at the moment there are no plans for a physical version.

I played the CPC version and I liked it but don't love it.
But as I can see in the video, the Spectrum version seems to be much better and very promising.
I can hardly wait to play it
