Congratulations to Zosya for deserved winning the competition with Seraphima!

But all participants deserve applause. There were many good games in the compo.

Keep making games for Speccy people :)

Some games seemed a bit rushed with few bugs so let's hope we will see
their polished versions soon.

Hi

This is what Natasha Zotova commented on Jagged Gaming, a Spectrum Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@ZXJaggedGaming), on Seraphima's definitive version (Googlish translation).

"(...) we cannot publish new versions until the end of the competition, although we know about many shortcomings and shortcomings in advance. I hope the final version will be released in the summer. After the death, we start with the flags - it was intended to be done otherwise, since by this time a large amount of data has already been overwritten by other information, including the main menu and some more initial scenes. But here the first mistake occurs: the yellow flag does not work in the competitive version, all objects disappear. This was corrected immediately. The bug with Medusa's seals has also been fixed. The oracle is used only once in this version, but there should be a few more such poetic clues in the final version - and there will be much more coins, respectively. And about the shell - definitely some kind of strangeness. What is connected with - they have not yet figured out, but in general the Oracle should not influence objects, it should only prompt. The black bar is an error. There was a passage to a hidden room at this location (that's where these extra items were), and the wall was accidentally removed during testing. There is no point in talking about the number of flags, hidden rooms and other secrets yet, since the final version of the map will be significantly different. Several more events, locations, items and dialogues will appear. Most likely, some more keys and initially locked rooms. And the finals: there will be a little more of them, one of the existing ones will be finalized, and statistics will appear at the end. All this will reveal the game world more fully. On the enemies and the combat system, something will also be retouched. In general, the passage will be similar, but very big changes are planned in some parts of the map. With cartridges, everything is simple - they are twice as powerful, you can use it at any time you want. Two more bugs found - you can contrive to kill a dragon without the necessary "skills" and avoid death when the palace is destroyed by going through the door at the right time - will be fixed".

She also added that Zosya have suspended production of physical editions, so it seems unlikely that Seraphima will get its cardboard box edition on the short term.

Best regards
