Joffa Smith surely? And don't call me Shirley.

Hypersports was the most fun and playable although Cobra technically (programming wise) the best (of his games that I had - which wasn't very many).

I think I'm going for Green Beret. He came up with the bulk of that Konami Coin-Op Hits compilation!

Green beret.

Not the best, but surely the game I played the most. A second place would be Cobra, that is better but not as funny to me.

3 games starting with 'Hy' ? Surely a record.

Anyway

1) Cobra. I mean, come on. It's just great.
2) Hypersports. Best of the multi-event sports games
3) Mikie. A really good conversion of a unique game.

Hyper sports was very entertaining as a child.
The characters faces,crying etc.
I think the gameplay was good if (thirty year old) memory serves.

There’s some damn fine games on this list. I’d say that the game I played the most from this list is Green Beret. It was a pretty tough game but had that ‘just one more go’ element. Hyper Sports is great and I prefer it over DT’s Decathlon. Cobra is a technically brilliant game and looks and plays superbly.

1 - Green Beret
2 - Hypersports
3 - Cobra

I never really liked Green Beret.

Terra Cresta
Hyper Sports
Cobra
I don't have anything cool to put here, so i'll just be off now to see a priest with yeast stuck between his teeth and his friend called Keith who's a hairpiece thief...

1 Batman
2 Hyper Sports
3 Cobra

I may be the only person that votes for Batman here. BITD I only got to play it a few times and if I had the time now, it’d be the game I’d want to play. Absolutely fascinating game and unique in its presentation.

I played Hyper Sports to death. Loved the detail in the graphics and the main character’s moustache. So much was squeezed into the Speccy!

Finally, it was a toss up between Cobra and Green Bert but I think I have happiest memories of Cobra. I remember getting the Magnificent 7 for Christmas and playing Cobra a lot. Mind, I also played the other games a lot. Great compilation.

Which makes me wonder if Pete’s ever done a battle of the compilations? Ocean and Gremlin had some crackers! Magnificent 7 vs Power Up? That’d be hard to choose!

1. Hypersports
2. Daley T's Super Test
3. Green Beret

No love for Super Test? I really enjoyed it, thought it was well done with some different types of events. Hypersports smashes all such types of game out of the water, obviously - just the sheer playability of the speccy version..

That'd be a tricky one. What would be the rationale between putting, say, 10 Great Games 2 up against the In Crowd? Full price compilations were quite random, not many of them had a set theme and I feel we need some connection between the competitors.

The closest I've got was the Covertape Wars series, although that has the rule that all 3 (or 2) compilations were battling it out in the marketplace at roughly the same time.

1. Hyper Active. Yes, I still love it. :) Yes, I know I might be the only one.
2. Daley Thompson Super Test. Great game, the song is good too.
3. Hysteria. The first two are fixed but too many choices for third place.

I wish Batman was more accessible, like Dizzy, but the object management in this game was tiring. Cobra was also a good choice and was just outside of the top 3. Greet Beret was always too hard for me.
