Frank Bruno's Boxing disk version?
Did anyone ever hack this into a disk/128/whatever version where you didn't have to write down the passwords for each fighter with a pen and paper?
Re: Frank Bruno's Boxing disk version?
It's on the +3 versions of Best of Elite Vol 1 and Frank Bruno's Big Box. You won't find them here because they're denied.

But that version has no passwords?
Re: Frank Bruno's Boxing disk version?
The Best of Elite +3 Disk version doesn't have passwords. You just pick the boxer you want to fight and it loads that one.

Interestingly the Load next boxer option has been completely removed in the disk version.

Yep, just found it and it's still completely terrible. You choose an opponent, beat them, and then all you can do is either fight them again or reset the machine and start again. As far as I can tell there's absolutely no way to have a single continuous game where you fight all the opponents in sequence and retain a score. What a waste of a good game engine.

In fact, the disk version is - amazingly - WORSE. At least with the TZX you can play a full sequential game, it's just a ball-ache writing down the passwords and typing them in. But with the disk version there's NO way to do it at all. Wonder why nobody bothered with a poke where you can just type AAAAAAAAAAA?
