I've no idea who ordered this, but it turned up in the office kitchen a few weeks back...

I've got one too..! Have to say it's brilliant as a chopping board, I use it all the time.

Out of stock. I hope I don't embarrass myself by asking this, but what computer is it a board for? Looks like a Speccy-but-not.

RF socket, EAR, MIC and 9V DC all on the left of the board? And the expansion port and keyboard membrane sockets where they are?

It's a ZX81.
Spectribution: Dr. Jim's Sinclair computing pages.
Features my own programs, modified type-ins, RZXs, character sets & UDGs, and QL type-ins... so far!

Actually, it's a USA Timex Sinclair TS1000 computer, the very, very close relative of the ZX81. The only significant differences being that it has a whopping 2K bytes of RAM and runs it's screen at 60Hz for their tellies. It also has a modulator for VHF TV frequencies (compared to the UHF in the UK).

“There are four lights!”
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :dance
Looking forward to summer later in the year.

I like it, but I'm not sure I'd want one. I'd like to be able to see the things I'm cutting up instead of losing them on the messy background image :snowman

The trick is to only chop brightly coloured items :D
