PQR didn't quite finish R-Type, so after letting a few others in... I'll finish it.

...no, I won't... I'm not entirely sure there are nine differences; are the two red/green lumps counted as one difference between them, or two?

So, as for the Hysteria Spot The Difference, there are three to go:

8: On the coil-shaped-thing at the bottom left of the screen, there is a + missing on the right screenshot.

9: Under the score meter, between the "Ø" shaped thing and Chief Bromden's head-dress, there's a small graphical detail missing on the right screenshot.

10: Also under the score meter, to the left of the "Ø" shaped thing, there is what looks like the exhaust manifold from a Daihatsu Sirion, a Subaru Justy, a Daewoo Matiz, or anything else with a three-cylinder engine. The black blobs decorating the exhaust mainfold are one pixel high on the left screenshot, and two pixels high on the right screenshot.

So that's Hysteria done - and I'll go and get a trophy from the National Autistic Society for that last one. I'll bet nobody else would get it (or want the trophy, for that matter).

And there's only one difference left to find in R-Type...

According to the sheet of answers I got from Van_Dammesque, it does indeed count twice, so I'll give the point to you. PQR already had two other correct answers (as well as the green/red lumps/hills) in the post it was first mentioned in, and TMD2003 also had three other correct answers in the post he mentioned it in, so you can have this point.
