Have another in the occasional list of Statue Of Liberties.
Fun fact : At 46m tall, its still not even in the top 50 of global statues for height. With its plinth it makes 90m, but its still not in the top 10.

In 1916, some german agents destroyed a near by arms shipment stored in New York harbour. The explosion was one of the biggest pre-atomic bangs. The status of liberty, a mile away, was heavily damaged and the torch has been closed to the public since.
