Oo-err missus.

I can see the review of this game in SU in my mind's eye, but just cannot remember the name.

Here's a quick clue as I've not enough time for a new image: it's a creature walking away from the screen.

How about?

A curious game that I wasn't aware of that seems to use more keys than Elite, without the benefit of a keyboard overlay.
2 of the 3 Crash reviewers thought it was worth getting to grips with, but they were in the minority.

The full screen:

This was a full price game in 1988 available on tape or disk, also on C64, reviewed in C&VG and the three Spectrum mags of the day.

Well that passed me by. Its Diamond by Destiny Software. Sounds a bit like Mission Omega. It even has a John Smyth cover (The chap wot did the art for Masterronic. Maybe thats not a good thing to do when you're trying to sell your game form £8.99.).

The only time I ever saw "nasty" was on the sound selection screen for Batman. "Useful" deleted the sounds as Batman is moving around. Were Jon Ritman and Bernie Drummond trolling us? It was actually useful to have the "nasty" sounds on, to be able to judge where Batman is relative to the one-touch-and-you're-dead scenery.
