Thank to page 86 of YS #19, a mention of Fire On The Water catches my eye, and that's a game from Arrow...

...or Arrow Publications, to give it its full name. They published a book about ZX Spectrum BASIC, plus lots of educational software (which we're not counting here) and a couple of text adventures, both developed by Five Ways Software:

Fire On The Water
Flight From The Dark
