Fred, naturally, not sure i played any others, but Afteroids is the one i would mostly be drawn to. No-ones voted for it though, is it rubbish?
Just Fred from me then.
I don't have anything cool to put here, so i'll just be off now to see a priest with yeast stuck between his teeth and his friend called Keith who's a hairpiece thief...
I tried to like Sir Fred and in many ways it's a more sophisticated game than its predecessor. However, the earlier game caught me at a particularly impressionable time so there's no dislodging it. I'm guessing that I'm not the only one who thinks that, looking at the voting so far.
1 - Fred. As seems to be a familiar story for back in the 80s, my dad had a colleague who ran a ‘game supply’ service. Each week my dad would bring back a printed list of games this chap could supply and one of those was Fred. I thought it looked and played brilliantly, even though I struggled to actually get anywhere in it.
2 - Sir Fred - great game, but it takes a while to get used the inertia of Fred’s movement and timing jumps.
Unsurprisingly, Fred has heavily won this, with 15 votes.
In second place is its not-too-shabby sequel, Sir Fred, which gets five votes.
In third place is Fred III, known as President Fred (you're just making this up, get back to the real results you fool - Ed). Oh alright, it's Sito Pons 500CC Grand Prix, 3 votes.
Joint fourth place goes to Afteroids, El Misterio Del Nilo and Paris-Dakar - 2 votes each.
It's a fairly similar story on the proportional results:
Fred by Investronica 23
Sir Fred by Made In Spain 11
Misterio Del Nilo, El by Zigurat Software 10
Paris-Dakar by Zigurat Software 4
