An eye-opening collection of the old and the relatively new! But you know I'm going for Saboteur anyway...

Sorry Pete - I missed the 'discussion' bit. @CliveTownsend1982 did the loading screen or other secondary contribution only on many of them. However, I don't think it will affect much - because Saboteur!

These ones are Clive's:

Saboteur! by Durell
Saboteur II by Durell
Saboteur Deep Cover
Reaper by Ubi Soft
Jam! by Teknamic Software

Don't know if Clive is primary author on this:
Garfield - Winter's Tail

These are not Clive's games - he did the loading screen for them:
Carga de Profundidade by Micro Sistemas
Lil' Ninja by Joesoft
Mazania - Mage Rage Part II by Joesoft
Ninja Carnage by Cronosoft
Road Trippin' by Joesoft
Road Trippin' 2022 - Coast 2 Coast by Joesoft
Turtle Tales by Bearsden Primary School

Sorry Pete

Clive is a gentleman and likes to make loading screens for friends and projects he thinks are cool. :)

Cheers @R-Tape. I will try to discount the eliminated games - of course a loading screen isn't enough to be considered a game author (hey, I did a great one for Total Recall back in the day, where's my ZXDB credit? Oh yeah, literally nobody but me and my family and friends saw it, from a C90 of artwork I made.)

I can't edit the first post, but hopefully enough people are reading this...

These are now the only games that will be counted

Garfield - Winter's Tail by The Edge

Jam! by Teknamic Software

Reaper by Ubi Soft

Saboteur Deep Cover by Crash/Teknamic Software

Saboteur II by Durell

Saboteur! by Durell

Garfield - Winter's Tail by The Edge
Jam! by Teknamic Software
Reaper by Ubi Soft
Saboteur Deep Cover by Crash/Teknamic Software
Saboteur II by Durell
Saboteur! by Durell

(Yeah, keeping in Garfield Winter's Tail until we've figured it out. Not likely to be anyone's first choice though, to be frank.)

I’m voting for Saboteur! but think I really need to try Saboteur Deep Cover. Those graphics look awesome.

1. Saboteur!
2. Saboteur II

Can say I’ve player his other games. If only I had the free time of a teenager again!

1. Saboteur
2. Saboteur 2
3. Saboteur: Deep Cover

That was surprisingly easy.

I voted for Saboteur 2. Spent so many hours creeping along dark rooms and corridors and assassinating unsuspecting enemies from the shadows. Oh and "recolouring" the female character on the loading screen. Good times!

EDIT: Incidentally, it's amazing that UbiSoft is still around making games and a very successful and accomplished developers too!

Let's not forget Saboteur's maverick approach to playability by actually being completable. Bitd, when I finished it (on easy), I didn't think "well I've been shortchanged there", I felt superhuman!

Firstly, thanks to all those who caught on to the errata, ignoring the games I shouldn't have included!

Saboteur! has hugely won this, a result I thoroughly agree with. 28 votes!

A distant second place goes to its sequel, Saboteur II, with 7 votes.

(Almost) everything else gets one vote each, putting it joint third: Jam!, Reaper and Saboteur Deep Cover. Garfield Winter's Tail gets nowt though!

Similar story on the proportional results:

Saboteur! by Durell 17
Saboteur II by Durell 8
Jam! by Teknamic Software 5
Saboteur Deep Cover by Crash/Teknamic Software 4
Reaper by Ubi Soft 2
