I'm working on preserving a utility from that series, and on the last pages of the Swedish manual, they list the programs included in the series.

Find it easier to mention it here, as I'm not sure if and how to add titles to a series, and its not linked yet, so I probably can't anyway :-)
I will create this.

Can you tell if that's an ordered series (where each title has an ordering number) or unordered?

Don’t think there was an ordering number. I’ve found an advert for the series in a mag that is online, and it seems the serie contains these 6 programs only.

I just noticed that the YouTube video in the entry for The Bard's Tale is apparently from a 2022 version. If you go to the YouTube page it says:
This is an updated 2022 version made by Monsters Productions and Tiboh, and it has these changes:

- Intro converted from C64 by Tiboh.

- The game is converted from +3 disk version and have these extras: There are extra pictures in the +3 version - One for the Guild, one for Garth's Shoppe, and one for the temples - these are just the standard house graphic in the 48K version.
There is a link to the download here.

Does this need adding to the entry?

Between The Stars is a ZX81 program, but the screens show flashing green.

It was a type in for the ZX81 which was typed in on a Spectrum and "enhanced" :-) The Spectrum TZX is attached to that entry, it also contains typos.

From the magazine scans:

Code: Select all

10 REM BETWEEN THE STARS
20 REM BY ROGER MACINTYRE
30
Whereas the tzx starts with:

Code: Select all

10 REM Between the stars
20 REM By Roger Mcinture
25 BORDER RND *7: PAPER 7: CLS
Tsss... pesky type-in'ers.

Good spot @Stefan. I'm very keen on us only storing 'virgin' type-ins (other than where there are errors in the listing) so I will make some changes to the entry..

I would say yes, or maybe as MOD?

Duplicate entries for Ventamatic educational software called 'Areas'. This and this are almost equal to each other.

I'm guessing that The Open Door was originally released in 1987 (not 1988) and it first appeared in compilation 6 in 1.

Is this information correct?

Yes, I don't believe Open Door was released anywhere else before it appeared on the 6-in-1, introduction to adventure games, compilation. And the year of publication should be 1987.

Program Dieta Cientifica (in Spanish) was probably published as type-in at magazine K64 but I could not find it. Please help!

Could you please confirm these are the correct titles?

Yes, but there are only 6 titles in the serie, 'Digilog Basic-Kompilator', should be renamed to 'Basic Kompilator', and moved into the 'Softek 'IS' BASIC Compiler' entry :-)

Also all 6 Swedish names I gave in another post should be added as re-releases under the English release. All 6 were re-released in 1983.

SWEDISH NAME: Superfile
ENGLISH NAME: Superfile

SWEDISH NAME: Pascal Kompilator
ENGLISH NAME: HiSoft Pascal 4

SWEDISH NAME: Sys 64
ENGLISH NAME: Sys 64

SWEDISH NAME: Basic Kompilator
ENGLISH NAME: Softek 'IS' BASIC Compiler

SWEDISH NAME: 16k FORTH
ENGLISH NAME: FORTH

SWEDISH NAME: DevPac
ENGLISH NAME: HiSoft Devpac

The games:

Hopper from Spectrum Games: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/2 ... rum/Hopper

and

Road Frog from Spectrum Games: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/4 ... /Road_Frog

Should be merged into one entry under Hopper.

Everything is explained in the YouTube video I link to in this post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11283

I'm not totally convinced that any copies of Hopper ever was sold, or if they had already changed inlay to Road Frog when you ordered Hopper, but I think we better keep Hopper in the database, and then move Road Frog into that entry :)
