Re: Amiga MOD Player - NXModPlayer v1.0
This is the best app I've tried on my xberry pi yet. Do you plan to release the source code?
Any plans to turn this into a full tracker so we can write our own mods with it?
Thanks

Re: Amiga MOD Player - NXModPlayer v1.0
Glad you like it. That's only the source for the mod engine by Kev, I still need to release the source for the actual NXModPlayer but its in a half state at the moment as I was in the middle of adding 80 column mode but got distracted...
Re: Amiga MOD Player - NXModPlayer v1.0
The engine is the key bit. It could well be getting reused in symbos when prodatron has wrote a mixer for the Nexts DAC. Apparently it can already play mods on some other platforms with the right sound hardware.
Re: Amiga MOD Player - NXModPlayer v1.0
What is the CPU speed needed for this player?
Lanex coded a memory resident and BASIC complaint MOD player for the eLeMeNt ZX and its SoundDMA (also based on m68k sources).
Runs on basic 3.5 MHz.
For the sake of comparison (although the hardware is different), I am curious...

Incredible, this all makes me nostalgic for my years using Amigas and Octamed
