Just a quick note to say that this weekend (roughly) marks 1 year of the SC forum!

A party??? Yeeaaaahhh!
Re: SC anniversary this weekend!
Yep. Peter's inviting everyone to his house. There will be 100 Spectrums with various games; exotic dancers; free tea/coffee/booze/class A substances; sausage/pineapple on cocktail sticks; and then it's off to London in his fleet of stretch limos with no questions access to the hippest nightclubs.
(A pretty average weekend for Peter).

I forget, is this a bring-your-own-food party or an empty-his-fridge party? How do we normally do this?
Every man should plant a tree, build a house, and write a ZX Spectrum game.

He's already coming. Richard Harris, Oliver Reed and Peter O'Toole have been invited.

I'll bring Twister and the Cheeky Girls.
I'll also see if Stan Ridgway can bring his Castle Grayskull fortress and some Texan bars.
Apparently Lenny Bennet's son, Benny, has some of his dads Razzle mags that he's going to bring as well

Remember to bring your own joystick, there may not be enough to go around.

Don't forget the prawn cocktail and black forest gâteau Dave. I'm one classy chap.

Heh. I remember reading that Peter O'Toole once went out for the night, presumably starting at the Coach & Horses in Soho, and woke up in Corsica*.MatGubbins wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 1:04 pm Remember to bring your own joystick, there may not be enough to go around.
Cool, we're doing a 1980's menu too?! I'll bring the Black Tower.
*I hope I remembered that right; it would be a very disappointing anecdote if he actually started the night in Corsica...

Re: SC anniversary this weekend!
By the way... which Spectrum game Peter O'toole would choose to play? (Because we´ll play Spectrum games in the party, won't we?)
And Richard Harris or Oliver Reed?

I don't think Ollie would be very pleased with Happy Hour...
